5-Amino-1MQ, also known as 5-Amino-1-methylquinolin-2(1H)-one, is a derivative of quinoline with neuroprotective and cognitive-enhancing properties. It acts as a selective antagonist of the sigma-1 receptor, a protein involved in various cellular processes, including neurotransmission and cell survival.
